Cake Mix Chocolate Chip Cookies

- 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
- 1/2 cup butter, softened, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Step1Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick cookie sheets). In large bowl, beat cake mix, butter, milk, vanilla and egg with electric mixer on low speed until dough forms, or mix with spoon (dough will be stiff). Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.

Step2Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart.

Step3Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are set (centers will be soft and cookies will be very light in color). Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Store covered at room temperature.
