Ingredients
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped seeded jalapeño chilies
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped or grated gingerroot or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 cup peach preserves
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 small mango, chopped (1 cup)
- 4 beef boneless New York strip steaks (about 1 1/2 pounds)
- 1 to 2 teaspoons Caribbean jerk seasoning

Step1Mix bell pepper, chilies and gingerroot in medium bowl. Stir in preserves, lime juice and mango.

Step2Set oven control to broil. Sprinkle both sides of beef with jerk seasoning. Place on rack in broiler pan. Broil with tops 4 to 6 inches from heat 6 to 10 minutes; turning once, until desired doneness. Serve with salsa mixture.
