Ingredients
- 2/3 cup Gold Medal™ All-Purpose Flour
- 2 tablespoons original-flavor malted milk powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 5 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/3 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions

Step1Heat oven to 375°F. In small bowl, mix flour, malted milk powder, baking soda and salt; set aside.

Step2In medium bowl, beat softened butter and sugars with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon about 1 minute or until fluffy, scraping side of bowl occasionally.

Step3Beat in egg yolk and vanilla until smooth. Stir in flour mixture just until blended (dough will be stiff). Stir in milk chocolate chips.

Step4Onto large ungreased cookie sheet, drop 12 rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart.

Step5Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown (centers will be soft). Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Store covered in airtight container at room temperature.
