Here's a terrific way to cook a lot of bacon at once, when you're entertaining a crowd.

- 24 slices bacon (from two 16-oz pkgs)

Step1Heat oven to 400°F. Arrange bacon slices on rack in broiler pan and on wire cooling rack in rectangular pan, 15x10x1-inch (do not overlap slices).

Step2Bake 15 to 20 minutes (do not turn) or until light brown.

Step3Increase oven temperature to 450°F. Bake 2 to 3 minutes longer or until bacon is crisp. Carefully remove pans from oven (grease will be very hot). Immediately remove bacon from pans with tongs to serving platter; cover with foil to keep warm. Serve immediately. When bacon grease is cool; pour into empty can or disposable cup. Let stand until it solidifies, discard.
