Start your day with a delightful twist on classic pancakes! These Matcha Pancakes offer a light green hue and a subtly earthy flavor, perfectly complemented by the warmth of ginger butter or your favorite syrup. Using Bisquick™ makes this recipe incredibly easy, allowing you to enjoy a delicious and unique breakfast without the fuss.  Even better, you can easily adapt this recipe!

How To Make

Making these matcha pancakes is incredibly simple. If using Bisquick™, simply combine the matcha powder with the pancake mix, add water, and shake well. For homemade pancakes, whisk the matcha powder into your pancake batter just before cooking.

Pour your matcha pancake batter onto a lightly oiled, hot griddle or frying pan, and cook until golden brown and cooked through. The entire process is quick and straightforward, making it perfect for busy mornings or a relaxing weekend brunch.

Once your pancakes are cooked, top them with a generous pad of ginger butter and a drizzle of maple syrup. The combination of the earthy matcha, the sharp ginger, and the sweet maple syrup creates a harmonious flavor profile that's both comforting and exciting.

How To Store

Leftover pancakes can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply place them on a microwave-safe dish and microwave for 30-60 seconds, or until heated through. You can also reheat them in a lightly oiled pan over medium heat for a freshly crisped outside.
