This is what happens when a bunch of sweet-toothed recipe developers aren’t told when to stop. Not only are these dessert waffles topped in candy, sweet whipped cream and all manner of gooey sauces, but we also snuck colorful sprinkles into the batter. One bite and you’ll agree—you can’t ever have too much of a good thing.

- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Waffles
- 2 cups Bisquick™ Original Pancake & Baking Mix
- 1 1/3 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons from 1 container Betty Crocker™ Rainbow Sprinkles
Toppings
- 3 firm medium bananas, cut into 1/4-inch slices (about 3 cups)
- 6 tablespoons caramel-flavored topping
- 2 tablespoons chocolate-flavor syrup
- 1/2 cup coarsely crushed mini pretzel twists (about 17)
- 6 teaspoons M&M’s® minis® brand chocolate candies
- 6 teaspoons miniature semisweet chocolate chips
- 6 teaspoons from 1 container Betty Crocker™ Rainbow Sprinkles
Instructions
-
Step1In chilled medium bowl, beat Sweetened Whipped Cream ingredients with electric mixer on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
-
Step2Heat waffle maker; lightly brush with vegetable oil, if necessary. In medium bowl, stir Bisquick™ mix, milk, granulated sugar, egg, oil and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla until blended. Stir in 2 tablespoons sprinkles.
-
Step3Pour slightly less than 1/2 cup batter onto center of hot waffle maker; spread batter to 1/2 inch from edge. (Waffle makers vary in size; check manufacturer’s directions for recommended amount of batter.) Close lid of waffle maker. Bake according to manufacturer’s directions or until steaming stops and waffle is golden brown; carefully remove waffle. Repeat with remaining batter; stir batter each time to redistribute sprinkles before measuring.
-
Step4Top each waffle with about 1/2 cup banana slices, 1 tablespoon caramel topping, 1 teaspoon chocolate syrup, slightly less than 1/2 cup of the sweetened whipped cream, heaping 1 tablespoon crushed pretzels, 1 teaspoon chocolate candies, 1 teaspoon chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon sprinkles. Serve warm.
