Pecan Pie is a classic dessert, but it’s even better in bar form with chocolate! Pecan pie bars are easier to serve and eat than pie, and they have a bigger crust to filling ratio, which is extra tasty when the crust is a chocolate chip cookie!

Ingredients
Crust
- 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
Filling
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

Step1Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.

Step2In large bowl, stir all Crust ingredients until dough forms. Press dough in bottom of pan using floured fingers. Bake 20 minutes.

Step3Meanwhile, in medium bowl, stir all Filling ingredients until well blended. Pour over hot crust.

Step4Bake 15 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely, about 2 hours. For bars, cut into 9 rows by 4 rows. Store covered in refrigerator.
