Prep Instructions

FOR THE CHOCOLATE COOKIE
YOU WILL NEED:
1/2 Stick (1/4 Cup) Butter or Margarine, Softened* (Not Melted)
1 Egg
FOR THE FILLING
YOU WILL NEED:
1/2 Cup Milk
*To soften butter directly from refrigerator, microwave on High 10-15 seconds.
Wash hands before rolling cookies.
1 Heat oven to 350°F (or 325°F for nonstick cookie sheet).
2 STIR Stir Cookie Mix, softened butter and egg in large bowl until dough forms.
3 Shape dough into 12 balls, about 1 rounded tablespoon each. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. (If dough is too sticky to roll, cover and refrigerate 20-25 minutes).
4 Bake 14 to 16 minutes. Cool 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet. Cool completely.
5 Mix Filling Mix and milk in small bowl on low speed 30 seconds and then on medium speed 1 to 2 minutes.
6 Fill each cookie pie with filling (about 2 tablespoons each). Spread evenly and top with another cookie pie. Refrigerate leftovers.
