Ingredients
Simple Syrup
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
Cocktail
- Ice cubes
- 1/4 cup Simple Syrup
- 1/4 cup pomegranate juice
- 2 tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur
- 2 tablespoons tequila
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
Garnishes
- Lime slices or curls
- Lemon slices or curls
- Pomegranate seeds
Instructions

Step1Make Simple Syrup. In 1-quart saucepan, heat sugar and water over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, just until mixture boils and sugar dissolves, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat; cool.

Step2In cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes, add 1/4 cup of the cooled Simple Syrup and all remaining Cocktail ingredients. Cover; shake until chilled and well mixed. Pour through strainer into 2 chilled glasses. Garnish with lime slices, lemon slices and pomegranate seeds.
