It might sound crazy, but practically every ingredient you'd want in a bar, come together in a crazy good way! This recipe for crunchy, gooey, yummy deliciousness, from Betty Crocker Snacks cookbook, is the perfect choice when you crave a sweet treat.

No-Bake Caramel-Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bars

Ingredients

  • 5 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch™ cereal
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme
  • 28 unwrapped caramels (from 11-oz bag)
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup salted mixed nuts
  • 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon vegetable oil

Instructions

    Spray 9-inch square pan with cooking spray. Remove ¼ cup of the cereal; coarsely crush it and set aside.

    In large microwavable bowl, microwave marshmallows and butter uncovered on High 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every minute, until melted and smooth. Stir in remaining 4¾ cups cereal until well coated. Press into bottom of pan.

    In medium bowl, stir together powdered sugar and marshmallow creme until well mixed (mixture will be thick and sticky). With wet offset metal spatula, spread marshmallow creme mixture evenly over cereal mixture.

    In small microwavable bowl, microwave caramels and cream uncovered on High 2 to 3 minutes, stirring after every minute, until melted and smooth. Cool 5 minutes. Pour and evenly spread caramel over marshmallow mixture. Sprinkle with nuts and reserved crushed cereal, pressing slightly.

    In small microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips and oil uncovered on High 15 to 30 seconds, stirring after 15 seconds, until melted. Drizzle chocolate over nuts. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour before cutting. Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.
