If you’re a busy mama like me, you probably don’t have a ton of spare time to prepare fancy dinners for your family. When I do have some extra time, I would much prefer to be playing with the kiddos or relaxing with a good book. This is why I love using my slow cooker during the work week. The feeling of relief when I walk in the door, knowing dinner is ready to go is absolutely priceless.
This easy dinner is full of flavor, and only requires a few pantry-staple ingredients. The creamy combination of chicken, bacon and ranch is sure to please any. I'm willing to bet that even your pickiest eater will be begging for seconds! Here’s how I make it.
Start by spraying a 4-quart slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray, placing the chicken breasts in the bottom.
In a medium bowl, mix together bacon, garlic, ranch dressing mix, soup, pepper, sour cream, pepper and water. Pour over the top of the chicken and cook on low for six hours or on high for three hours.
When about 15 minutes are left, cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
Immediately before serving, shred chicken with two forks and toss creamy chicken mixture with cook pasta. Dinner is served!
