Spiral Candle Cake

Ingredients
- 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Vanilla Cake Mix (or your favorite flavor)
- Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
- Thin sparkler candles, 6 1/2x1/8 inch
- Pencils
- 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting or 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Vanilla Frosting (or your favorite flavor)
- Flat mint or rainbow candy-coating wafers, as desired

Step1Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Make, bake and cool cake as directed on box for two 8-inch or 9-inch rounds.

Step2While cake is cooling, place candles in warm water until soft and pliable; wrap each candle around pencil. Cool candles about 15 seconds; remove pencils.

Step3Place 1 cake layer, rounded side down, on serving plate. Spread with about 1/3 cup frosting. Place other layer, rounded side up, on top. Frost side and top of cake with remaining frosting. Arrange candles and wafers on cake.
