Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 1/2 cups Progresso™ reduced-sodium chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
- 2 medium carrots, cut into 1/2-inch pieces (1 cup)
- 1 medium potato, peeled, cut into 1/2-inch pieces (1 cup)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped (1/2 cup)
- 1 medium stalk celery, cut into 1/2-inch pieces (1/2 cup)
- 1 bag (16 oz) dried lentils (2 1/4 cups), sorted, rinsed
- 1 package (6 oz) sliced Canadian bacon, coarsely chopped

Step1In 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker, mix all ingredients. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 to 9 hours or until lentils are tender. Stir well before serving.
