Perfect for a hot summer night because no oven is required. This fast-fix lasagna is loaded with garden-fresh veggies, so just add fresh fruit and bread for a complete meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 package Hamburger Helper™ lasagna
  • 3 1/2 cups hot water
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)
  • 1 medium tomato , chopped (3/4 cup)
  • 1 small green bell pepper, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, if desired

Instructions

    Brown ground beef in 10-inch skillet; drain.

    Stir in uncooked Pasta, Sauce Mix, water, mozzarella cheese, bell pepper, oregano and garlic powder. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally; reduce heat.

    Cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring ocasionally; remove from heat. Uncover and let stand about 5 minutes or until sauce is as thick as you'd like. Stir before serving. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
