Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
- 1 small green bell pepper, chopped (1/2 cup)
- 2 jars (14 ounces each) pizza sauce
- 1 package (3 1/2 ounces) sliced pepperoni, chopped (3/4 cup)
- 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 18 sandwich buns, split
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 ounces)
Instructions

Step1Cook beef and onion in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat about 8 minutes, stirring frequently, until beef is brown; drain.

Step2Spray 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Spoon beef mixture into cooker. Stir in bell pepper, pizza sauce, pepperoni, basil and oregano.

Step3Cover and cook on low heat setting 4 to 6 hours.

Step4Serve beef mixture with buns and cheese. Beef mixture will hold on low heat setting up to 4 hours.
