Shrimps marinated in lemon juice and soy sauce mixture and grilled till pink in color make a mouth-watering appetizer for your next fall party.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb uncooked large shrimp, peeled (with tail shells left on), deveined
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

    Place shrimp in shallow glass or plastic dish. In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients; pour marinade over shrimp. Cover; refrigerate 2 to 3 hours, turning shrimp occasionally.

    Heat gas or charcoal grill. Remove shrimp from marinade; discard marinade. Place shrimp in grill basket (grill “wok”). Place basket on grill over medium heat. Cover grill; cook 6 to 8 minutes, turning once, until shrimp are pink.
