Lima Bean and Kielbasa Soup

Ingredients
- 1 package (16 ounces) dried lima beans, sorted and rinsed
- 1 pound kielbasa sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices
- 2 medium carrots, cut into 1/4-inch slices (1 cup)
- 2 medium stalks celery, cut into 1/4-inch slices (1 cup)
- 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 6 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
Instructions

Step1Mix all ingredients except tomatoes in 5- to 6-quart slow cooker.

Step2Cover and cook on high heat setting 10 to 12 hours or until beans are tender.

Step3Stir in tomatoes.
