We believe in spreading holiday cheer and cheers-ing with holiday cocktails. From small holiday parties to family get-togethers, our mimosa with orange liqueur is one part festive and two parts delicious. This fun twist on a classic mimosa takes the traditional orange juice-and-sparkling-wine recipe up a notch by using orange liqueur instead of orange juice and adding raspberry liqueur, too. And yes, a mimosa with orange liqueur is as good as it sounds. Our Holiday Mimosa recipe is almost as easy to make as it is to drink. Plus, it looks impressive. So, if you've been looking for an excuse to play amateur bartender this season, this Holiday Mimosa is a great first step–or should we say, sip!

Tips from the Betty Crocker Kitchens

  • tip 1
For a big batch of Holiday Mimosas, in a pitcher, mix 3 oz (a little over 1/3 cup) each of orange liqueur, raspberry liqueur and simple syrup. Cover and chill. To serve, set out 6 sparkling wine glasses with lime wedges or twists, your pitcher with your chilled mix, and a bottle of chilled sparkling wine, and let guests serve themselves.
  • tip 2
Prosecco, Cava and American sparkling wine are all great choices for this drink. But to make it even more special, feel free to splurge and use French Champagne!
  • tip 3
To make Simple Syrup, add 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup water to a 1-quart saucepan. Heat to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat; let stand 30 minutes. Transfer to a storage container; cover and refrigerate up to 3 days. Makes 1 1/4 cups.
