Bars
- 3 2/3 cups Bisquick™ Original Pancake & Baking Mix
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
- 2 eggs
Frosting
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions

Step1Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13 × 9-inch pan with cooking spray.

Step2In large bowl, mix Bar ingredients with spoon until soft dough forms. Press evenly into pan.

Step3Bake 21 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 1 hour.

Step4In medium bowl, beat 1 cup butter and 2 cups of the powdered sugar with electric mixer on low speed until blended. Beat in 2 teaspoons lemon zest, the lemon juice and salt. Gradually beat in remaining powdered sugar until well blended. If necessary, beat in additional lemon juice or water, 1 teaspoon at a time, until frosting is of desired spreading consistency.

Step5Spread frosting over bars. Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows. Store tightly covered at room temperature.
