Easy Date Walnut Cookies

- 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Oatmeal Cookie Mix
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 package (8 oz) chopped dates
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
- Powdered sugar, if desired
Instructions

Step1Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir all ingredients until stiff dough forms.

Step2Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Step3Bake 10 to 11 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
