Put that bottled dressing back on the shelf. Fresh herbs and tangy buttermilk mix together in just 10 minutes to make a dressing that will add zing to all your salads and vegetable plates.
DIY Ranch Dressing

Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
- 6 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
- Salt and pepper
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup buttermilk
Instructions

Step1In medium bowl, stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, parsley, chives and garlic paste. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Step2Add 1/3 cup buttermilk. If mixture is too thick, add more buttermilk 1 tablespoon at a time until desired thickness.

Step3Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving to blend flavors.
