Ingredients
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped pistachio nuts
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Decorator sugar crystals, if desired

Step1Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom and sides of 9x5-inch loaf pan with shortening.

Step2In large bowl, mix granulated sugar, butter, milk and egg until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients except sugar crystals. Pour into pan. Sprinkle with sugar crystals.

Step3Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Loosen sides of loaf from pan; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely, about 2 hours, before slicing.
