Camper's Fruity Oatmeal

Ingredients
- 3 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 5 cups water
- 1 can (15 oz) sliced peaches in syrup, drained
- 2 tablespoons chopped almonds
- Brown sugar, if desired
Instructions

Step1In resealable food-storage plastic bag, mix oats, cranberries and salt.

Step2In 2-quart saucepan, heat water to boiling. Stir in oats mixture. Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thick and creamy. Stir in peaches (chop if desired) and almonds. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
