- 2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
- 1 cup chopped dates
- 1 cup golden raisins
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans

Step1Heat oven to 375°F. Spray cookie sheets with cooking spray.

Step2In medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. In large bowl, beat butter with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Gradually add granulated sugar and brown sugar, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. On low speed, gradually beat in flour mixture just until blended.

Step3Stir in oats, orange peel, dates, raisins, coconut and pecans. Onto cookie sheets, drop dough by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart.

Step4Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks.
