One of the best things about summer is the fresh berry bounty, and to make the most of it, I’m constantly baking berry desserts—especially cobblers. Recently, I came up with a simple Very Berry Slow-Cooker Cobbler recipe that uses only four pantry ingredients. Seriously, it’s so easy and the perfect way to celebrate the season! Here’s how to make it.
To start, gather your ingredients: Betty Crocker SuperMoist yellow cake mix, a stick of butter, two tablespoons of sugar and three cups of fresh berries. You can use any kind of berries you’d like. I made my cobbler with a colorful mix of blueberries, blackberries and strawberries.
Now, pour the berries on top of the cake mixture and sprinkle with the sugar. Cover your slow cooker and cook on low for about 4 hours. If you only have frozen berries on hand, make sure to adjust the cook time to 4 ½ hours so those berries are good and thawed.
