Spaghetti is one of those dishes you kind of take for granted. It’s something you make when time is tight, or when there’s nothing in the fridge, or when you’re just too tired to mess around in the kitchen. But spaghetti can be more than just something to fall back on when you’re out of ideas. In fact, if you treat it right, spaghetti can be something truly special—a meal that your family will love.
This rich, hearty and savory casserole full of good stuff, like eggs, cheese, garlic, Alfredo sauce, chicken and bacon makes for a special spaghetti meal that you’ll want to make again and again. Here’s how to make it!
Heat oven to 400°F. Grease 15x10x1-inch pan.
Cook spaghetti in large pot as directed on package. Drain, and rinse spaghetti with cool water. Place cooked pasta back into the pot and set aside.
Pour egg mixture over spaghetti, along with 1 cup mozzarella, and 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese. Stir to combine.
Reduce oven temperature to 350°F. Remove pan from oven, remove foil and top with toppings; first sauce, chicken, bacon and then mozzarella cheese.
