What you’ll need: 1 baked and frosted layer cake 1 package Betty Crocker™ Cake Patterns Trace & Decorate 1 package Betty Crocker™ Decorating Tips Variety Pack Betty Crocker™ Decorating Icings in White, Red, Green, Purple, and Orange How to: Trace Cut the desired pattern out following the dotted line. This will help you center the traced pattern onto the cake when you transfer. Remove cap from clear tracing gel & cut the very tip off the gel tube to create a small opening. Trace the pattern with the clear tracing gel by following the black lines. Where there is a solid black dot, place a dot of gel. Transfer Carefully flip the traced pattern, gel side down, center the pattern to the cake and gently place onto frosted cake. Using your finger, gently tap along the design to transfer the gel onto the cake. To remove the pattern from the cake, gently lift one edge and peel the pattern off the cake. Decorate Using tip #3 and purple icing, trace gel lines for lettering and pipe the purple confetti dots and balloon strings. Before moving to step 2, wash and dry tip #3. Using tip #3 and green icing, trace gel lines for green balloon, filling in as you go and pipe green confetti dots. Using tip #5 and red icing, trace gel lines for red balloon, filling in as you go and pipe red confetti dots. Before moving to step 4, wash and dry tip #5. Using tip #5 and orange icing, trace gel lines for orange balloon, filling in as you go and pipe orange confetti dots. Create a finishing touch by adding a top & bottom border to the cake using the star tip #12 and white icing.
