Cherry cake sounds yummy. Follow these two recipes as guides: Cherry-Chocolate Chip Cake and Cherry and Pistachio Cupcakes. Cherries and nuts need to be chopped finely and the cherries need to be very well drained. Note in the first recipe, the chocolate chips used are minis as regular size would sink in the batter. It's always fun to sprinkle nuts over the frosting as well!
