Color Theory & Cake

Created May 25, 2021
Cake with green, blue, yellow, orange and white frosting
A tasty rainbow masterpiece is steps away when you bring cake and color theory together! When frosting is dyed with primary colors like Red, Yellow and Blue, you can create more colors of frosting.

In the scientific method, you always start with a question. For our Color Theory & Cake experiment, you might ask, what would happen if I added one drop of each color? What would happen if I added more than 5 drops? Would adding only one drop create a lighter color?

After you have your question, you can head to our Learn page to study up and form your hypothesis, which just means what do you think the answer to your question will be?

Now it's time to test your hypothesis!
