- 1/2 pound fully cooked smoked turkey sausage ring, cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 2/3 cup shredded carrot
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cans (15 1/2 ounces each) great northern beans, drained and 3/4 cup liquid reserved
- 1 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
