- 32 slices French bread, 1/4 inch thick
- 1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
- 3 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced (2 cups)
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions

Step1Heat oven to 425°F. Place bread on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush 2 tablespoons of the oil on bread. Bake 4 to 5 minutes or until light golden brown.

Step2Mix tomatoes, remaining 2 tablespoons oil, the garlic, cheese, basil and salt. Place about 1 tablespoon tomato mixture on each warm bread slice.
