Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon instant espresso coffee powder or granules
- 1 tablespoon hot water
- 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons caramel sauce
- A pinch of flaky sea salt, for topping

Step1Heat oven to 375°F. Dissolve espresso powder in water. In large bowl, mix together cookie mix, cocoa powder, butter, egg, and espresso mixture until a very soft dough forms.

Step2Use a small cookie scoop to shape dough into 1 1/2-inch balls. On a parchment-lined baking sheet, place balls 2 inches apart. Bake for 11-13 minutes on center rack.

Step3Cool for 10 minutes on baking sheet. Drizzle with caramel sauce and top with flaky sea salt.
