Ingredients
- 1/2 pound bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 4 cans (16 ounces each) baked beans
- 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped (1 cup)
- 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
Instructions

Step1Cook bacon in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until crisp. Drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings.

Step2Mix cooked bacon, 2 tablespoons drippings and remaining ingredients in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker.

Step3Cover and cook on high heat setting 1 hour.

Step4Turn to low heat setting; cook 5 to 7 hours to blend and develop flavors.
