Easy Carrot Tzimmes

Ingredients
- 1 lb carrots, thinly sliced (3 cups)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 medium cooking apple, peeled, coarsely chopped (1 cup)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- 2 teaspoons margarine
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Instructions

Step1In 2 1/2-quart saucepan, heat carrots and water to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover; simmer about 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain. Remove carrots from saucepan; keep warm.

Step2In same saucepan, mix remaining ingredients. Cook over low heat about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until apple is tender.

Step3Add carrots; stir gently to coat. Cook until thoroughly heated.
