What’s February without some chocolaty indulgence? Our dessert of the month, Caramel-Drizzled Brownie Hearts, makes it oh-so-easy to serve your sweethearts a delicious treat, even when you’re short on time. It starts with Betty Crocker Supreme original brownie mix, and with the help of a heart-shaped cookie cutter, gooey caramel and crunchy pecans, becomes a treat that everyone is guaranteed to love. Here’s how to make it!
What you’ll need:
How to:
1. Heat your oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Line the bottom and sides of a 13x9-inch pan with foil. Grease the bottom of the foil with shortening or cooking spray. Make the brownie mix as directed on box. Cool brownies completely in pan, about 1 hour.
2. Using the foil to lift, remove the brownies from the pan. Remove foil. With a deep 3-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut 12 brownies.
3. In medium microwavable bowl, microwave caramels and whipping cream uncovered on High for 1 to 3 minutes, stirring every minute, until the caramels are melted.
4. Arrange the heart-shaped brownies on serving plate. Drizzle the melted caramel mixture over the brownies. Sprinkle with pecans to finish.
