Cocoa Puffs® Ghost Pops

Perhaps you get enough sweets with whatever comes through your house after trick-or-treating, but for me, I like to go a little overboard on Halloween. The day only comes once a year, so pass me some candy bars, caramel apples, candy corn and a festive cocktail, please! 

This year, I’m adding these Cocoa Puffs ghost pops to the list. Not only are they super easy to make, but they’re perfect for a party or to give away as gifts, which is great for me, because I’ll probably have enough sugar with everything else. 

Here’s everything you need to make these pops happen. Cocoa Puffs cereal provides the milk chocolate flavor, while the chocolate chips provide the white chocolate flavor. Two types of chocolate in one recipe? I’m in.

Melt the butter and marshmallows in a large saucepan over low heat.

Add the cereal and stir everything to combine.

Press the cereal-marshmallow mixture evenly into the bottom of your prepared pan, then let them cool completely to set.

Once cool, cut it into 18 rectangles. You can trim the tops to round them off and make them look more ghost-like, but it’s not necessary. Push a lollipop stick into the bottom of each bar to make a pop.

Melt the white chocolate chips with a bit of oil, then dip the pops into the chocolate and transfer them to a wax paper-lined baking sheet. You can also spoon the white chocolate over the pops, if it’s easier. Don’t forget to place two mini chocolate chips in the center of each pop for eyes!

Refrigerate the pops until the chocolate is set, then serve! A little sweet, a little spooky, a lot of fun.
