We Turned Our Favorite Candy Bar Into a Dip

By Karly Campbell

This dessert dip is the perfect ode to our favorite candy bar, Snickers! A creamy, chilled dip with bits of crunchy Snickers mixed in – it’s a must-try treat for any peanut, caramel, chocolate fanatic.
Snickers Apple Pie Dip

Nothing says summertime like a fresh baked apple pie. Of course, turning on the oven in the middle of a heat wave is never pleasant. This apple pie dip is just as American as can be, with all of the flavors you love in a pie, and it’s loaded with chopped-up candy bars just for fun. The extra drizzle of caramel sauce on top gets everyone excited to dive in.

I always have the ingredients for this on hand for unexpected guests. The recipe comes together in just one mixing bowl and about 5 minutes of time. There’s no wait time involved, which means that you can be dipping to your heart’s content in a manner of minutes.

For this recipe, you’ll need: apple pie filling from a can, instant vanilla pudding, refrigerated whipped topping, caramel sauce for drizzling, milk, and Snickers candy bars. I like to buy a package of the bite-sized snickers because there are fewer wrappers to deal with.

Grab a mixing bowl and stir together the vanilla pudding and milk until just combined. The mixture will be thick and creamy.

Next, add your whipped topping to the bowl and give it a gentle stir.

I like to run my knife through the apple pie filling since it tends to come as big slices of apples. I prefer bite-sized chunks in this recipe. Once you have the filling chopped up, add that to the bowl.

Here’s what takes the whole recipe over the top: Snickers bars! Chop them up so they’re nice and small. If you’re looking for a nut-free option, Milky Way bars would work just as well.

Once you add your candy bars to the bowl, give everything a good stir. That’s it! You’re ready to get your dip on. Drizzle with the caramel sauce and prepare to see your dip disappear in a matter of minutes.

I like to serve the dip with freshly cut apple slices and vanilla wafers, but graham crackers are pretty divine too!
