You’ll wonder how you made it through summer without this crowd-ready, campfire-free treat.

While summer may not officially be here yet, I don't have to wait to enjoy what’s arguably the quintessential sweet of summer: S'mores. I'm making my own version now in my trusty ol' slow cooker. This easy dip is a lot like a chocolate fondue, except it has marshmallows melted right in with the chocolate, meaning you don't need a campfire to get that luscious blend of hot marshmallow and melty milk chocolate, it's all right in the crock! All you need to add is the graham crackers for dunking! Let me show you how to make it.

To begin, place marshmallows and chocolate chips in a 3- to 4-quart slow-cooker.

In a small bowl, combine heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract. Pour into the slow-cooker and stir to combine.

Cover and cook on low setting for one-and-a-half to two hours, stirring halfway through. Serve with choice of dippers.

Graham crackers are a no-brainer, but don’t feel limited! You can dip in fresh fruit, like strawberries, or even marshmallows.
