There were few meals that my mom made when I was growing up that could bring my brothers to the dinner table on the first call. Pot roast? Not so much. But spaghetti pizza? Yes. This often-requested dish was a special treat and today, I’m excited to show you how to make it a family favorite at your own dinner table.
First, boil a pound of spaghetti noodles.
When the noodles are finished cooking, drain and then rinse them briefly with cold water. Also rinse out the pot with cold water—it is needed for the steps coming up. In a small bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs, then add the salt and garlic salt. Grab the cheese and your egg-milk mixture and mix it all in with the cooked noodles.
Spread the noodle mixture on a greased jelly roll pan and pop it in a preheated 400° oven for about 15 minutes.
Once the noodles have baked (about 15 minutes), remove the pan from oven and lower the temp to 350°. Spread the sauce on top first.
Then top with cheese. Oh yes.
Return to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until nice and bubbly. Cut into squares and watch it disappear from your dinner table!
