Greek Nachos

Say “yasas!” to Greek nachos, a Mediterranean twist on a classic favorite.

Nachos are a gift from the gods. They are super simple to make, require common ingredients and taste unbelievably delicious—a win-win-win! But it’s time to take a break from the typical south-of-the-border standby. Give your favorite nacho recipe a Grecian upgrade with this yummy (and healthy) recipe for Greek Nachos.

Greek Nachos

Like normal nachos, this recipe takes very little effort to make and tastes delicious. But unlike your standard recipe, this one combines classic Greek flavors—tangy feta cheese, Yoplait® Greek yogurt, fresh mint, Kalamata olives and refreshing cucumber—on top of a bed of baked pita chips. In less than half an hour, you can have a Greek feast on your plate!

First, prepare all of your ingredients ahead of time, so you don’t have to rush with chopping (and risk injury) while the chips are baking.

Cover your prepared pita slices with a light drizzle of olive oil and a few dashes of salt. Toss to combine. Place in the oven until dark and crispy, about 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, get that tasty mint sauce ready. Stir all the ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. Now, it’s time to make the nachos! Place a desired amount of chips on a plate. Top with mint sauce, fresh chopped veggies, olives and a sprinkling of feta cheese.

That’s all there is to it. You and your family will love this unique Mediterranean twist on nachos. Enjoy!
