How do you cut brisket across the grain?

Hi,

 

Corned beef as with any beef should be sliced across the grain for tender non-stringy slices.  To get nice slices you use a sharp knife and position the meat so that you can see long fibers of meat.  Cut across the long fibers or the grain.
