Chicken Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 cups shredded or chopped cooked chicken
  • 2 cans (10.5 oz each) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (8 oz)
  • 3 cups (from 2 boxes) Progresso™ Plain Panko Crispy Bread Crumbs
  • 6 tablespoons butter

    Heat oven to 350°F.

    Evenly place chicken in bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish.

    Spoon dollops of the condensed soup over the chicken, then using a spatula or the back of a large spoon, spread the soup evenly over the chicken.

    Sprinkle cheese evenly over the soup.

    Place bread crumbs in a medium bowl. In small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Pour melted butter over bread crumbs; stir until crumbs are evenly coated with butter.

    Sprinkle bread crumb mixture over cheese.

    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the cheese is melted, the bread crumbs are golden brown and the casserole is heated through. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
