Ingredients

  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded deli rotisserie chicken
  • 1 cup Frank's™ RedHot™ Original cayenne pepper sauce
  • 1 cup blue cheese dressing or ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (2 oz)
  • Toasted sliced bread, crackers or celery sticks, as desired

Steps

  • 1
Spray 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Add cream cheese and 1 cup of the chicken. Top with 1/2 cup of the hot sauce and 1/2 cup of the dressing. Top with remaining 1 cup chicken, 1/2 cup hot sauce and 1/2 cup dressing.
  • 2
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and blue cheese over top. Cover and cook on Low heat setting about 2 hours or until warmed through and cheese is melted.
  • 3
    Serve warm with remaining ingredients.

Tips from the Betty Crocker Kitchens

  • tip 1
Sprinkle chopped green onions on top on the dip for a pop of color.
  • tip 2
A slow-cooker is an under-appreciated party appliance. You can cook in it, keep food warm in it, serve from it, and transport food in one if needed. A large one is great for a crowd, while there are much smaller versions made for keeping dips warm.
  • tip 3
Don’t forget to have more Buffalo cayenne pepper sauce close by—you may have a guest with super-hot taste buds.
  • tip 4
Chop up leftover roast or grilled chicken to use in this dip.
  • tip 5
Keep slow cooker on Warm heat setting for a party so guests can serve themselves warm fresh dip straight from the slow cooker.
  • tip 6
You can use cooked shredded chicken breast in place of rotisserie chicken, if desired.
