This Thai classic makes a fun group dinner, with everyone gathered around the table and to choose the ingredients for their wrap and created their own customizable meal.
Mom’s Ultimate Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 8 medium green onions, sliced (1/2 cup)
- 1/4 cup coarsely chopped carrots
- 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon grated gingerroot
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh bean sprouts
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 12 medium iceberg or Bibb lettuce leaves, rinsed, patted dry with paper towel
Instructions

Step1In 10-inch nonstick skillet, cook turkey over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until no longer pink; drain and return to skillet. Stir in onions, carrots, bell pepper, gingerroot and garlic. Cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until vegetables are crisp-tender.

Step2Add the bean sprouts, soy sauce and brown sugar. Cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, to blend flavors.

Step3To serve, spoon turkey mixture onto each lettuce leaf; wrap around filling. Serve warm.
