Cupcakes
- 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
- Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
Decorations
- 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
- Yellow food color
- 12 large orange gumdrops
- 24 banana flavor stretchy and tangy taffy candies (from two 6-oz bags)
- 48 miniature chocolate chips

Step1Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups. Make and bake cake mix as directed on box for 24 cupcakes. Cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove from pans to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

Step2Meanwhile, in medium bowl, mix frosting and 14 drops yellow food color until evenly tinted. Remove paper baking cups from cupcakes. Place upside down on serving platter.

Step3Frost cupcakes with yellow frosting. Flatten and cut shapes out of orange gumdrops for beaks. Cut shapes out of banana taffy for wings and comb. Press orange gumdrops firmly into cupcake for beak. Press banana taffy firmly into cupcake for wings and comb. Gently press miniature chocolate chips on face for eyes.
