Just a few minutes on the grill brings an intense smokiness to ripe avocadoes. Straight from the fire, this warm guacamole is an irresistible appetizer.
Grilled Guacamole

Ingredients
- 4 ripe avocados, halved, pitted, peeled
- 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
- Juice of 1 large lime
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon roughly chopped cilantro
- Salt and pepper
Instructions

Step1Heat gas grill over medium-high heat.

Step2Brush avocados with olive oil. Place avocados on grill over medium-high heat. Cover grill; cook 2 to 4 minutes on each side or until grill marks appear and avocados soften.

Step3Transfer avocados to bowl. Mash with fork. Add lime juice, garlic and cilantro. Mix to combine.

Step4Season with salt and pepper.
