Ingredients
- 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
- Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
- Red and yellow liquid food color
- 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
- Betty Crocker™ black decorating icing (from 4.25-oz tube)

Step1Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups.

Step2Make and bake cake mix as directed on box for 24 cupcakes. Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove from pans to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

Step3Stir red and yellow food colors into frosting to make orange; frost cupcakes. With black icing, pipe lines to look like a basketball. Store loosely covered.
